MY RESEARCH

My research is focused on improving patient-centered management of swallowing and motor speech impairments for patients living with serious illnesses through the development and implementation of novel assessment and intervention methodologies.

My research focus areas include:

1) Swallowing and motor speech impairments in persons diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

2) Motor speech impairments following facial transplantation
